International Bingo Day is a day to celebrate the great game of bingo! No matter where you play or how you play.
Bingo!
Bingo is popular all over the world. It is so popular in the US that Americans spend $90 million on bingo cards per week!
The game started out being called Beano, because the numbers were covered with dried beans. It is thought that the name changed when an excited player yelled “Bingo” instead of “Beano” when they won the game.
You can help to celebrate International Bingo Day by hosting a Bingo night at your house or going to a Bingo Hall to play.
No matter what you choose to do, have fun!
