India celebrates World Students’ Day on October 15, the birth anniversary of the former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
Even though Dr. Kalam was the president of India from 2002-2007, he wanted to be remembered as a great teacher. World Student’s Day is a time to remember how the former President always encouraged students to dream big and never be afraid of failure.
World Student’s Day is not celebrated outside of India, but it is still a great idea to celebrate Dr. Kalam!
