Lambton Learns is proud to be a partner in the Literacy Lambton Baby Bookworms initiative!
In 2023, new babies born at Bluewater Health will receive a Baby Bookworms bag. Each bag will include baby books, a tracking journal to encourage reading 1,000 books before Kindergarten and resources for parents to help build their child’s literacy and language skills.
Learn more about it on the Bluewater Health Facebook page.
Did you know there are between 1,100-1,200 babies born each year in Lambton County?
Parents of newborn children are encouraged to read to their children!
It’s also a good time to apply for the Canada Learning Bond. Be sure to apply to see if your child/children are eligible for free money for their post-secondary education.
