Happy Canada Day!

Canada Day (French: Fête du Canada) celebrates Canada’s confederation, which occurred on July 1, 1867.

That’s when the British North America Act was signed and three separate colonies – United Canadas, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick – were united into a single dominion called Canada. In fact, July 1st was originally called Dominion Day!
In 1982 the name changed to Canada Day. Now it’s a national holiday, and celebrations take place across Canada. Many communities will have parades and fireworks to celebrate Canada’s Birthday.
Wouldn’t it be great to receive between $500-$2,000 to help with post-secondary school expenses? Check out the Canada Learning Bond to see if you qualify!
