Canadian School Library Day

Canadian School Library Day
October 23, 2023 by LorriK

Canadian School Library Day is observed on Monday October 23, 2023. Canadian School Library Day celebrates the important role that libraries have in the education and development of young Canadians.

School Libraries provide youth with diverse resources for learning, development and news. For some people libraries offer a safe haven to lose themselves in another world through reading. For others, libraries provide access to news, information and technological resources that may not be available at home.

If you’re interested in a career in working in a library, be sure to check out the Canada Learning Bond. If you are eligible you could receive between $500 to $2,000 for your post-secondary education.
