Family Day in 2025 is Monday February 17th.
Family Day is not a national statutory holiday, it is only observed in New Brunswick, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and in British Columbia. Other provinces have holidays in February on the same day, but these holidays aren’t called Family Day. In Ontario, Family Day is a public holiday.
Family Day is a great opportunity for families to spend the day together. Check your local resources for Family Day events. There may be free skating or other activities available in communities throughout Lambton County.
