Have you ever heard the term “In like a lion, out like a lamb” and wondered what it means?
Some people think it refers to the fact that when March starts, it’s still winter and by the end of the month it is spring. There are also theories that it refers to the constellations, with the Leo rising at the beginning of the month and at the end of March it is Aries.
When the month of March starts out with mild weather people call it a “false spring” and often expect more winter-like conditions at the end of the month.
Regardless of the origins, it is fun to speculate on what the weather will be at the start and end of the month. Either way, spring is definitely coming soon!
