Smart Saver recently introduced an on-line application process to start a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) for children in families with modest incomes. If children are eligible, they can access up to $2000 in federal funds through the Canada Learning Bond (CLB).
This website was developed as the result of testing and analyzing the results of families’ experience of the original StartMyRESP website and reduced the application time to 20 minutes!
MySmartFUTURE is available in English, French and Spanish, enabling families to include up to six children on one application.
Families have the choice of 11 different financial institutions. This means families can find a bank or credit union with a branch close to where you live, or instead select one that offers easy remote access.
If you think you might qualify for the Canada Learning Bond and want to try the on-line application visit MySmartFUTURE
