World Mental Health Day
October 10, 2023 by LorriK

World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year. The theme for 2023, set by the World Foundation of Mental Health, is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’.

World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health.

If you are interested in a career in mental health, you will need to attend post-secondary education. Careers include, but are not limited to; counselling, therapy, art therapy, recreational therapy, psychologists and psychiatrists.

Be sure to apply for the Canada Learning Bond to see if you are entitled to receive up to $2,000 for post-secondary education.
