World Pasta Day

World Pasta Day
October 25, 2024 by LorriK

Pasta lovers around the world have enthusiastically celebrated World Pasta Day since 1998.

Even though Italy has many different types of pasta, it may have originated in China instead of Italy. Some people believe that Marco Polo brought pasta to Italy from China. While the origin of pasta is unclear, pasta is a popular dish in both cultures thanks to its versatility across cultures.

Join families, chefs and restaurants around the world every year on World Pasta Day by trying out a new recipe or two, or an old family-favorite, with your friends and family.

While you are gathering with friends to celebrate World Pasta Day, be sure to talk about the Canada Learning Bond. You and your friends could get up to $2,000 in free money for your children’s post-secondary education.
