World Thinking Day 2023 is February 22. It has been celebrated since 1926 and is a day of international friendship.
The theme for World Thinking Day 2023 is Our World, Our Peaceful Future.
On International Day of the Girl 2020, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts under 18 from 100 countries were asked what issues they were most concerned about and what they wanted to change about the world. The number one worry they had was the environment.
The 2023 the Our World, Our Peaceful Future activity pack explores what can be learned from the environment and how to work with nature to create a more peaceful and secure future for girls everywhere. Topics of stewardship, harmony and the role the environment plays in peace and security are explored in the activity pack.
