Its Canada Day, up Canada way!
Happy Canada Day everyone.
Today is the day that Canadians celebrate Canada’s birthday.
Canada Day or FĂȘte du Canada, was formerly known as Dominion Day. July 1 is a federal holiday and the anniversary of the signing of the British North America Act. The BNA created Canada when the United Canadas, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick were united. When the Canadian Constitution was patriated in 1982, Dominion Day was renamed Canada Day.
Many families will celebrate by attending gatherings, picnics and parades.
One way to celebrate Canada Day is to ensure that your children have savings for post-secondary education. Visit this Government of Canada site to see if your children qualify.
