International Sweatpants Day

International Sweatpants Day
January 21, 2025 by LorriK

January 21st is International Sweatpants Day.

It’s fitting since we are experiencing a Polar Vortex in Lambton County today.

Temperatures are hovering around -18C and cold weather alerts have been issued.

That means everyone should limit the amount of time they spend outdoors. If they are outdoors, be sure they are bundled up with limited skin exposure to avoid frostbite.

Since you are spending more time indoors during these cold weather days, be sure to check out the Canada Learning Bond information.

If you or a loved one is eligible for the CLB then be sure to apply. There are over 18,180 children and youth in Lambton County who are eligible for up to $2,000 in free money for post-secondary education!
