World Verterinary Day is celebrated every year on the 27th of April. In 2024 the theme is “Veterinarians are essential health workers”.
Veterinarian school covers comprehensive medical training for animals, large and small. Because so many people love their pets and feel that their pets are valued family members, vets can be considered to treat and improve people by keeping their pets healthy!
World Veterinary Day was established in 2000 by the World Veterinary Association (WVA) to honour those who work in the veterinary profession. The day is celebrated every year on the last Saturday of April and honours the veterinary profession’s role in the health and well-being of animals, people, and communities worldwide.
It takes between 4-6 years to complete veterinarian training, and depending on the practical training, it could take up to 9 years to compete. Click on the link here to learn more.
